… what you can expect? There is a well-developed process in place when you purchase a Mattamy home which begins with the receipt of your customized Homeowner Manual upon closing. The Homeowner Manual allows you to keep a handy record of your new home from start to finish. You will find a wealth of technical information in your Homeowner Manual including:

• How the mechanical, electrical and plumbing infrastructures function
• How to turn on your furnace as well as furnace maintenance tips
• How to monitor and maintain additional features such as the carbon monoxide monitor.

Because we are committed to keeping our homeowners up to date on the progress of their new homes, we invite homeowners to attend what we call Mattamy University. Mattamy U is a great place for all of our new homeowners to meet with the people who will be managing the building process. It is an opportunity to ask questions, find out what the construction process involves and get to know those who will be your main contacts once the building process begins. It also gives you the chance to meet and chat with your new neighbours.

Our homebuyers can customize as little or as much as they wish in their new home by choosing from a very wide selection of interior features and finishing touches. Our colour palettes are broad and our range of architectural and convenience features is impressive. How do you go about narrowing down all these options to what's best for you?

Our Design Centres is located in Barrhaven next to the Mattamy on Half Moon Bay Sales Office. They stock a huge selection of items to make the interior of your home truly stunning. Prior to completing your home, you will have up to two scheduled appointment with our Design Consultants. These experts will guide you through the many choices available in order to help truly individualize your new home.

After you have purchased, you can expect to begin the interior features/finishes design centre process. You will receive a call from the Design Centre Administrator to schedule the two appointments, one for your structural choices and one for colours and finishing touches which are typically 2 - 3 hour appointments.

Before you make the final choices, you will have an opportunity to browse through the Barrhaven Design Centre and make notes about things you like during the Open House Hours on the weekend. Weekdays are set aside for appointments but the Design Centre will be open all weekend long to allow lots of browsing time before your appointment. On-site staff will be available to help answer your questions.
