We try to take some of the bewilderment out of the process by contacting our homeowners constantly, to keep everyone informed throughout the building experience. We also provide a Design Center which helps you choose the exact interior and exterior details that will help make your family home one of a kind. We will be with you every step of the way until that happy moment when you step into your new home for the very first time.
Mattamy Building Process
Building a new home is an exciting time for the homeowner, the fulfillment of a dream and the start of a new place to call home. Mattamy Homes has a step by step process which takes the customer through the construction process from pre-construction to final inspection. We will be with you every step of the way until that happy moment when you step into your new home for the very first time.

- Design Center Appointment - immediately after you purchase a home, your Mattamy Sales Representative will set up an appointment for you to meet at the Design Center for a Custom Selection appointment to choose your colors, options and upgrades on everything from paint, flooring and cabinets to countertops. See additional section on Design Center Process.
- Plan Preview Meeting - Customer will review with a Mattamy representative the house plan and any requested changes.
- Pre-Construction Meeting - Customer will sit down with the Mattamy Representative for a final review of your dream home. Together, you'll verify placement of the house, review blueprints, and find out what to expect during the building process. Permits are then pulled with the city and construction begins.
- Quality walk through points - the Mattamy superintendent will walk the home with the future homeowner at various stages of construction; initial site walk, electrical walk and pre-close walk.
- Home Delivery Appointment - The builder will take the homeowner through the completed home on closing day to insure you are completely satisfied and to answer any last-minute questions you may have about your home.
- 30-Day Warranty Service call - Approximately 30 days after closing, a Customer Service will contact the homeowner and set an appointment to inspect the home and answer any questions that have come up in the first 30 days of occupancy.
- AVID ™ Customer Service Satisfaction Survey - Homeowners are informed that they will receive this survey one month, and one year after closing.
- Inspection Warranty Service call - Onsite Customer Service will contact the homeowner about an appointment with the warranty service division.
- AVID ™ Customer Service Satisfaction Survey - Homeowners will be informed that they will receive this survey one year after closing.
Design Center Process
What's in store at the Design Center?
Our homeowners will be invited to meet with a Design Center Consultant to review the included features of their home and to be introduced to a variety of optional features available for purchase.
These experts will guide owners through the many choices available to help truly individualize each new home. The Design Center Team will contact homeowners to schedule an appointment.

During your appointment, you will be selecting the following.
- Pre-Planned Layout Options
- Interior Finishes and Color Selections
At your appointment. owners will be able to tailor their new home with the all of the pre-planned layout options available plus all interior colors and finishes to personalize your new home.
Appointments usually run 2 to 3 hours in length and are conducted Monday through Friday by pre-arranged appointment times. After each appointment, homeowners will return to the Sales Center to confirm their selections prior to the start of your home construction.
We welcome our homeowners to bring any fabric swatches or other information necessary to help you with your decisions.

Mattamy Homes is proud to offer a comprehensive warranty, in addition to a 10 Year structural warranty from Professional Warranty Corporation (PWC).
